Paladin Tools 70025 RJ45 Network Cable Test Kit

I received the tester on time with Prime. The tester comes with a carrying case, test leads and a 9V battery inside the unit. I used the tester on 15 cables with new RJ45 connectors on both ends, about 30 feet long. There were 5 cables that needed replacing which saves time and embarrassment in the long run. It's just a continuity tester and was sold to my colleagues who are going to get it. If the lights don't work in order 1 through 8, start by checking the straight connectors. The tester is…

Do you have a home network? If yes, then YOU NEED IT.

My home network has grown to two wireless routers, two switches, three DVRs, an Xbox and four computers. God, it didn't seem complicated until I thought about it. I've had network issues from time to time that resulted in me resetting my routers and switches and possibly trying to disconnect, reconnect and restart devices. worked for me for tester

I had a problem with the printer periodically disappearing from the home network. After exhausting possible software causes, I began to suspect a hardware problem and purchased this tester largely based on other buyers' reviews of it and similar products. I chose this particular one because the price was reasonable and other reviews didn't criticize it as too 'cheap'. Since my problem was intermittent, it took me a few tries to find the error in action. I started by placing the main unit on the

This is a great tool!

My apartment is connected to the internet in several rooms but it just doesn't work. I suspected I either had a bad wire in the mix or the connector wiring was clogged with a hose. So I took this tool to find out what the problem is. More on that in a minute. The device comes with a transceiver (one unit), a smaller receiver, two patch cords and a 9V battery. If you just want to quickly test the cable, you can just use the main unit, connect one end to the output, the other to the input and…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
