yes it works but not as good as OE. You have to point it EXACTLY in the right place and be VERY INTENTION when you press the button. I know this is a first world issue, but it makes watching ROKU less enjoyable. I would recommend one of these just as a backup in case the real ROKU remote is lost.

It has no power button and no volume button. The only reason I didn't return it was because my box was stolen so I digressed to find out what happened to it. I finally ordered a new Roku device and when I tested the remote I found that it doesn't have a power or volume button. I tried pressing Home to see if it acts as a power button, but no. Now I have a useless piece of plastic that I paid for. Very disappointed. I was hoping to use it as an extra remote but it's completely useless.

I've read some reviews that said they don't work or only work at very short distances and don't look like OEM Roku remotes . The simple fact is that it doesn't, Roku remotes use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth frequencies in many cases and have a pairing button under the battery compartment (some not all).
