Thin, thin, thin and no wear limit!

Yes, they're cheap, but they're very thin to begin with. I was going to use these 160mm rims to replace some Maguras that had a 1.8mm wear limit but was disappointed when they realized they were straight 1.8mm. The new Maguras were 2.0mm. I don't think they are safe to use as they are very thin and have no wear limit marked on them. See photo.

Rotors ok - bolts - scrap

Haven't broken in or tested the brakes yet, but the rotors are easy to install and fit well. BUT the supplied screws do not fit. suitable for standard hex keys. I was then able to tighten, but easily with the specified torque. They all slipped before I could get into spec. I'll be investing in some new $10 bolts, so I might as well just buy a Shimano.

  • Great overall performance

Quality product, big discount

Great rotors. Before buying I was skeptical about their quality because of the low price, but they are excellent. They worked right out of the box and have stayed on my bike after 2,000+ miles of daily commuting (and counting). I've used SRAM CenterLine rotors in the past, but I've had regular issues with them deforming right out of the box. SRAMs cost around $33 per rotor and were a huge waste of money. They cost about 1/5 the cost and are perfect.

  • Enjoyable

Affordable rotors that last!

I was afraid to buy such cheap wheels but I've been riding them for a year with no problems! I've been riding a lot this summer (2-3 times a week) with my teens on the local high school MTB team and they've held up well. Fairly retarded, consistent and responsive. I haven't even installed the second set yet. I'm seeing a few negative reviews here so I don't know if I've had any luck with a good batch but it's cheap enough I think it's worth at least trying. I will try them again if I need to…

Would recommend looking elsewhere for a cheap replacement disc

Bought to replace a warped Avid G2 160mm disc that was used with a Juicy 7 caliper. If you're an aggressive trail rider using similar brakes, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a cheap replacement drive. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get this disc to "roll" and produce heavy braking. This is probably due, at least in part, to the difference in friction area between the two discs. In the photo the Stock G2 is under the HemeraPhit product and you can see the difference. The Avid pads…
