These micro tools from Hakko cost a little more but are very good tools for jobs that require a small tool. In use they feel as strong as a larger tool and don't bend like many other micro tools. Pay a few dollars more and you won't be disappointed!

I needed some quality needle nose pliers to work on the guitar. I looked at craft tool websites and found the same pliers for $40 more! This is high quality designed for professional workers. High quality tool made in Italy at a really great price. pay, and with the tools that seem to be the case, and then some. Ergonomically it feels good in hand, this tool won't bother you, and the fit and finish of the metalwork and handle material is clearly of high quality.

These Hakko pliers that I received are of good quality. The jaws are not perfectly aligned side to side, there is a slight offset, so the quality is not very good. Also, the spring could be a bit stronger. Given the price, I'm considering returning it. I'll be checking out Harbor Freight and Home Depot this week - if their tongs are any better, those Hakko tongs will be back.

I like this product, it is of good quality, as are the side cutters. However, they look almost the same, so I mix them up and get the wrong one all the time. I think I'll add heat shrink tubing to change the look. The pliers are nicely square and the teeth are sharp. spring loaded. They can curl if used on something really strong. The Cresant brand is way better if you ask me. Now if only I can tell them apart from cutters. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my review.

These things are so big. I looked for this particular form factor and bought them because they looked like the best option. Wow! They work great for my specific target purpose, but not only. The nose is like flat, thin precision pliers. But it's a thin jaw. Even pliers have a wider (thick) profile, making them difficult to use in very tight spaces. Not this one.
