DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY

As other reviews have said this is not a tool it is a toy. I'm very dissatisfied with this crap. The drill bits are utterly useless and are struggling to cut the softest wood in my workshop. I'm going to scatter this junk and look for a real dowel nozzle. I would not recommend this item for any purpose!

Inconvenient to use, good for power tools and hand tools

I've tried this tool 6 times and in all 6 cases the holes didn't match. One of them didn't even drill through the center and went through the surface of the wood. I do not recommend this or any other hand bait to anyone. IT'S ONLY $20 AND THE OLD SAYING "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" IS PERFECT!

Not easy to use

You get what you pay for. It arrived with no instructions, so I asked a carpenter friend of mine for help. It wasn't as versatile and durable as I thought it would be. I ended up borrowing another set that was all metal and didn't slip. I keep this as a backup in case I have other random projects I need to do without worrying about being super accurate.

Pretty good, just a little hassle on big projects.

This dowel clip is good for a small project. Worked great. The downside is that you'll need two of these if you're working on a large project because you'll have to detach and reattach the board with the holes on the edge when you're doing another. Each time you have to adjust the guide according to the position of the hole. Otherwise this is a good product.

The product is metric only, not imperial as the name might suggest. Otherwise OK

Everything works as it should, the holder works perfectly and is properly processed. Just note that the title and description list imperial sizes, but the drill bits are metric. 10mm is more than 3/8" so my dowel pins were too small. It's my fault for not looking closer but the name is deceiving, this tool is metric only.

Old Pro Says Find Something Else That Works

Unlikely to degrade build quality and hold shape. The drill could not drill through the soft jaw I tried it on. The bit collar was the wrong size and would not stay. The listing says it's US standard size, no it's metric. I could keep solving problems, but I don't want to waste my time or yours. I sent the item back because it was so bad and unusable.
