Wrong thread! Best in Shocks, Struts & Suspension

M8x1.25 thread not 5/16-18 as advertised. Use them for a custom application. I drilled holes and threaded them 5/16 18. Now I have to start over.

Used for hood supports

I used them on my 2007 Toyota Camry. One of the factory hood support studs was completely broken. Instead of getting the welder, I chose her. Worked fantastic!

Good quality ball joints.

Ball studs needed, this was the cheapest option I could find that would ship quickly. They appear to be well made, no issues with threads, round ends etc, they fit my needs perfectly. Would buy again.

The threads are not 5/16-18. Incorrect description

As of July 2020 they still come with m8-1.25 thread, not 5/16. See other reviews with the same issue. The description is completely wrong and needs to be changed. The quality is good and they will work well if they can get the threads right.

M8 thread not 5/16 inch

Please note they are not threaded as advertised. According to the product description they are 5/16"-18 (SAE) threaded. In fact they are M8 - 1.25 (metric) threaded. This does not affect functionality as the matching nuts are supplied but you should consider if your application requires them to be screwed into pre-drilled holes.
