I bought this for $120 and now my room looks like a movie theater. I love it. Worth every penny. I paired it with a $200 mid-range receiver and loved it.

The speakers and subwoofer were great for the first month of ownership. After that the sub stopped working. Something to do with a faulty auto sense switch. Since this product has been discontinued, HK is unwilling to fix errors or honor its warranty on this product. The nearest authorized repair facility is in Michigan. Will not buy HK products again.

The sub stopped working after a few months. I went back and forth with customer service and they made me send it back and then sat around for a couple of months before advising that I had to return the entire system (which means I would be without NO speakers, not only without subwoofer). ) all this time because the device was not ordered. The system sounded great but stopped working and the customer service was terrible.

I was looking for inexpensive surround sound speakers to connect to my Sony Bravia TV and Sony STR-DG520 A/V Receiver. I chose them without doing my due diligence (listening to them) and am very happy with my purchase so far. Obviously if you're looking at these speakers you should do more research than I did, but even if you don't I think you'll be happy. They sound good and look good. One issue is that the powered subwoofer is much larger than I expected.

After much online research and customer feedback from various sources, including consumer reports [.] on the best home theater systems and speakers, Onkyo was voted the best receiver and Harmon Kardon - the best speakers in relation on price, quality and equipment. Beautiful sound combined with a Yamaha receiver, nice finish and great price. "CATCH" the subwoofer started buzzing in standby mode and finally stopped working. The orange light is still on but the subwoofer doesn't work even when I turn the mode on. I'm checking the return policy right now, but it seems I missed a few days. I am extremely disappointed! It was a great system to start with. Great speakers, great subwoofer, very easy to connect to my receiver. However, my subwoofer failed 2 months after purchase.
