This product on Revain contains moths

I never meant to be the bearer of bad news but this bird seed contains moths and now my house is infested with moths. I usually buy direct from Harrison, but I needed a faster order. I believe this is my second time and both orders carried moths. I thought I was finally rid of them and that the first bag would be a lucky break, but no! I'm infected again. Which costs me a lot more money than ordering direct from Harrison. There's never a problem.

These are the highest quality parrot pellets on the market

If your Arakot doesn't look spattered, it looks round. And you can take ALL of it. Then you know that a pellet is a good pellet. My scarlet macaw loves this thing. That's only about 30-50% of her daily ration, and when she eats other pellets, her droppings always crumble. Like a runny pancake mix that's green and has blobs on the bottom. Harrison High Potency makes her poop round. It's the same with my cockatoos. Overall great pellets and I recommend them.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great healthy balance.

For many years I sadly fed my kennel semen until I took her to the vet for a check up. The vet recommended this organic brand as it has a good balance of proteins and nutrients. I took his word and tried to get her to eat them for the next 3 years. Which brings me to the most important point: 1. It takes time to wean birds from their eating habits. You most likely can't just show it to your bird and send it to town. If you are lucky enough to have a small parrot they might take it for you. Weโ€ฆ

It took a while but he ended up liking the bag!

At first I struggled to get my eclectus to eat it. I bought this food on the advice of my vet. In addition, My Eclectus gets fresh organic fruit, vegetables, bean mix and a small amount of nuts every day. Fruits, mixtures of legumes and vegetables form the basis of his diet. He also had a tendency to only eat sunflower seeds and other seeds, which is not good for an Eclectus if they overeat. seed. Especially not the seeds. When we took him to the vet, my vet found he was slightly underweightโ€ฆ
