This product surprised me. The quality was much better than the price suggests. They advertise this as a cheese melt dome, but I use it in my pan to cover my burgers while cooking. They are great for that!

Have four Didn't need four but now have a spare. Very well constructed, grips are great and should stay cool. I had to add handles. A screwdriver was included. Nice gesture. They don't fold when the handles are on.

I now have a functional and attractive food lid that keeps food hot. Haven't tried them on a grill or hot surface so can't rate heat resistance yet. I particularly appreciate that they are made of steel. It's easy to add a handle and clean up too. It's like going to a fancy restaurant when the family comes and finds these lids on their plates. I also bought the larger sizes. Also good.

This is the perfect size for a scrambled egg or two. Place a dome over the eggs as you put the bread in the toaster. Perfect medium-sized eggs without having to flip them and risk breaking the yolks. If only I could turn back time and deliver this product 20 years ago. But unfortunately I have to be glad I got 4 in one shipment so I can share the good news that is the joy of the melting dome with 3 friends who also admire her genius. Take it. Currently.

Used on a food truck to melt cheese on hamburgers and speed up the cooking time of cakes and cookies. I've had trouble finding the right size domes for a long time. not too big or too small. Our burgers we make are 6 inches in diameter and these domes are perfect for covering them without being too big.
