Description of 🖨️ Exploring High-Quality HATCHBOX 3D Printer Resin for Exceptional Prints

3D PRINTING RESIN: (1) 500 ml bottle of 405 nm wavelength, 46 MPa tensile strength, fast curing resin for high quality, general purpose printing. Exhibits excellent fluidity & cure characteristics that make it easy and reliable to work with. HIGH PERFORMANCE: Hatchbox Resin is a standard photopolymer 3D printing resin that requires UV curing via LCD/DLP printers. No matter what kind of light-based printer you work with, our resin is THE choice for performance, quality, and value. FDM VS. RESIN: While thermoplastic filament is the go-to for many applications, resin is a material growing in popularity for its performance capabilities. With every print, you'll enjoy detail reproduction you simply can't get with filament, along with a tensile strength (46 MPa) that ensures its longevity. BENEFITS OF RESIN: This low-odor, low-viscosity formulation is easy to work with. Low shrinkage means precision prints that look the way you designed them. Beginners and experts alike rely on Hatchbox 3D printing materials to deliver the frustration-free reliability they need to save time and money. WHY HATCHBOX: We’re proud to produce the highest quality printing materials on the market with the reputation to back it up. From art and design, to prototypes and functioning parts, Hatchbox is trusted to provide the best in 3D printing technology.

Well it's Hatchbox

Hatchbox is a well-known brand in the world of FDM 3D printing, usually one of the first to be recommended when the question "Which filament is better?" pops up. With a solid reputation behind her, expectations are high for her resin. As usual for a new resin, I ran the R_E_R_F (Resin Exposure Rangefinder) test on my AnyCubic Mono X and quickly found a reliable setting (see ). For the model, I used Bes' Egyptian Cosmetic Vessel, courtesy of Scan The World. The print came out great, no adhesion…

Extended curing/exposure time

Overall I am satisfied with the HATCHBOX 3D printer resin. I did a few tests with it before starting and found that the exposure time needed to be increased compared to what I've used with other white resins from other brands. It's a lot more opaque, though, so it's a reasonable expectation. Once installed it worked fine. The smell is strong as far as I can tell my trash. I try to handle all uncured resins as safely as possible by wearing a VOC cartridge respirator, gloves and protective…

Pros
  • FDM VS. RESIN: While thermoplastic filament is used in many applications, resin is becoming an increasingly popular material due to its performance properties. With every print, you'll enjoy a level of detail that filament simply can't match, as well as a tensile strength (46 MPa) that makes it durable.

Reliable printing resin with low flexibility

I've been using Hatchbox filament in my FDM printer for years with good results so I decided to give their foray into resin a try. As you can see from the label, it's designed to be somewhat flexible, which is actually good for tiny, highly detailed models - it's probably meant to prevent small parts from breaking. yellower). Printed on the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K, the resin was able to reproduce my test model (you can tell) accurately and flawlessly on the first try. BTW this test model is…
