WOODWORKING / MECHANICAL SKILLS NECESSARY. BLK-QUEEN Bed lift kits include mounting hardware, wood blocks and 2 - 20" x 80 lb. gas springs for installing both sides of the RV bed. EXCLUSIONS: Bunk Beds, Side Load Applications, or RV beds in Slide Outs with Fixed Base Platforms.

Easy to Use Bedlift

This bedlift is perfect for automotive enthusiasts who need extra storage in their RV. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, installation was a breeze. The quality is impressive and it's easy to use. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. Overall, I highly recommend this bedlift for its convenience and durability.

Works well in RV parts and accessories

Our Queen motorhome did not have a lifting mechanism. The illustration sheet is excellent. Of course, you understand that adjustment is required after purchase. Thank God, a very mechanical neighbor. We needed to continue extending the bed support frame towards the end of the pillow by screwing 2 x 4s into the base frame. Then we could use the elevators in the right place. But Hatchlift works as shown in the picture. I wish the elevator was a bit bigger but it actually does the job. My wife…

Be flexible with installation

This is a good kit that has everything you need except wood glue and any additional fasteners that you may need. Once you figure out the correct placement of the top and bottom brackets, the actual installation will be very easy, but the instructions won't help determine proper placement. The instructions for the 31"-48" sub-platform show the installation of the struts with the bottom bracket at the foot end of the bed. It didn't work for our 48 inch sub platform.
