When the wire coming out of the box that allows you to change light patterns is moved around the lights go in and out / besides that lights themselves are good.

I purchased 2 strands of these lights less than 10 months ago. This week, after a power-outage 1 of the stands will not power on. I've done the typical troubleshooting, without any luck. The product description says they offer a 15 month warrantee, but I can't seem to get anyone to answer the phone (the "support page" doesn't really take you to a page that will get you support). I'm hoping this post will get someone from HBN to call / email me with a way forward.

I purchased a set of these string lights in the summer and using the app, had been enjoying them since then. Stellar customer service and a company that stands behind their product are reasons to consider purchasing these lights. I had an issue thay was quickly addressed by the manufacturer. Easy set up and very user friendly app.

The lights aren't very bright, as others have noted. That's not a big deal for me, but I don't like the fact that they always turn on after power is restored, even if they were previously off. If they came on in the same mode, it wouldn't be so bad, but it is always in this annoying blinking mode. These lights were easy to install. They are bright and the app gives you lots of color and sequence options. I have had these lights for a while, but I recently had a warranty issue where the lights were malfunctioning in the middle of the strings. I worked with Ariel in their customer service department. And I am very pleased to say they promptly sent out a new replacement and then followed up with multiple emails to make sure I had received it and that the warranty claim had been satisfied…

These lights are perfect! My husband hung them on wire through the top rings so they would hang freely and not have weight on the actual light wire. Very bright and soooo many settings for colors. I use the app to control them and they are on a timer to go off and on every evening. Couldn't be better!

Happy with these lights. Would have liked them to be a little brighter, but they still light up my whole pool area well. Like how we can change the colors, and we will keep them up all year. Decorative and a nice extra touch to any outdoor area

Started out great, but issues with lights coming on outside scheduled time and most importantly, water in bulb, I can not recommend this product.

Negatives: 1. When trying to use this set with google home, it was giving me different colors than selected in google home/app, I would select or say blue it would go green etc. (the other type of bulbs from the same manufacturer the 24/36 foot ones with different shape bulbs worked no problem). 2. The diffusal of the light is a little odd, it almost looks like a bullseye (pic on left is this set, other pic is the 32/24 foot set) on the ground (the 24/36 foot set from HBN is a nice smooth light

This is the third set I've ordered and it seems to work OK but i have only used it once because of the weather. I paid more money for this set and I hope it does better (actually it has) than the first 2. The first set did nothing when I plugged it in, the second set would blink for a couple of minutes and then stay on, but when I shut them off or unplugged them they would blow the circuit breaker. I love the length and light, but have two purchased twice, and both sets have stopped working. One half works and the other half just started blinking even when turned off!

If you add the other 48 foot strand to sync up the 144ft it will not have matching custom colors. I was most disappointed that the white does not sync up. If you try to use a brighter white some will be white some will be a yellow green. Super bummed about that. My husband says there is not enough power in wires to power all the way to the 144ft that is why there is a color difference towards the end of the strand. So, if you really want all the colors to look the same, stay with the 96ft max…

The companys waterproofing isn't up to par. I had them for 2 days and now half the set doesn't work after a bulb filled with water after a torrential rain. Really love the app, colors and preset scenes and easy integration with my smart home. Shame I need to find a better product before spring. One that actually is waterproof.

I had to exchange this, as my first box was obviously used (previous purchaser used screw still in the cord) and did not work. Exchange was quick and easy, and they work perfectly now. -1 star for the inconvenience that should have been avoided
