Good deal for the price

It’s a little small and therefore difficult to drape over the shoulders. Doesn’t hold heat as well as my old one. And you know what! GET OFF MA LAWN!

Pros
  • Health Care
Cons
  • May not stay in place as well as other heating pad options

Best heat pack I have ever owned!

I have used moist heat packs for years - mainly purchased from expensive back therapy stores. The biggest issue I have faced over the years is that these heat packs wear out quickly if used regularly.(this is the main reason I waited several months before writing this review.) I decided to try this one, because the price was good & it had decent reviews.I have used this heat pack almost every day for the last 9 months and it has held up remarkably well! It's still retains its moist heat every…

  • Easy to follow instructions
Cons

Great for those aches and pains

We have used Thermalon products for years and they never disappoint. 1’30” in the microwave, and you will have lots of moist warmth to put on those sore and achy muscles. (Tip: Heath the pad on a dinner plate. That will keep it from picking up food stains over the years.)

Pros
  • Long-lasting heat retention ensures that your pain remains under control
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with certain skin conditions or sensitivities

Best Moist Heating Pad Ever!

The Thermalon Microwave Activated Moist Heating Pad is very helpful for pain. I got it to help with the pain from a recent surgery and it was so soothing. It helped a lot with the pain and also enabled me to fully relax and sleep well. The pad is covered in a sturdy, sailcloth-like material and heats in 1 min. in my microwave. I was also surprised how long it maintained its heat - hours. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • OTC Medications & Treatments
Cons
  • The pad may not hold up well over time with frequent use

Works Great! - my new review

I have severe neck pain and swelling from a terrible car accident. What love about this is that you can hear it up in the microwave to as hot as you want it. I usually do 2-3 minutes because I like it super hot! Then I roll it up almost like a burrito, and lay on it at at bedtime. It relive’s my pain and feels amazing

Pros
  • Hot & Cold Therapies
Cons
  • Can cause discomfort if left on for too long or if the heat is too high

Gut one for hubby - my new review

I purchased one for myself a few years ago. My hubby started using it so, instead of bickering over the heating pad, I bought a new one and gave him my old one. I love it for travel. 2 minutes on the microwave and that’s all she wrote.

Pros
  • Targets deep-seated pain within minutes of activation
Cons
  • Cannot be used in water or submerged in any liquid

Love these pads on my review.

I suffer from chronic backpain. These pads are really helpful. Every morning i warm up two of these to relax my very tight back. When my pain is more severe I warm up three or four of these and lay down in bed or use these in a recliner and they really help to relax my back and ease my pain.

Pros
  • I 100% recommend this heating pad. also it can be used as a cold pad, or a holder for another cold pad.
Cons
  • Needs to be microwaved, which can be inconvenient if you don't have access to a microwave

So amazing! - my new review

Everything about this item is great. It is easy to use, works fantastic, is quick and the heat stays for a long time. Had a groin pull and this made things sooo much better. Heated up in 1-1/2 minutes and stayed warm for a long time. Wrap it in a dishtowel and put it where you need it. My chiropractor recommended it and I'm so glad I got it.

Pros
  • Safe and easy to use, without any adverse side effects
Cons
  • Some users may find the pad too heavy or bulky to use for long periods of time

Not as hot as I would like

I use this for my golfers elbow and in PT now. Use this at home and not quite as hot as I would like. I am staying under the maximum microwave time they recommend on the instructions to maintain the moist heat. It gets warm but definitely not ever too hot that it’s uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Perfect for people recovering from surgical procedures or injuries
Cons
  • Cannot be used without adult supervision for safety reasons

BEST HEAT THERAPY PAD OUT THERE

My daughter suffers from stomach pain from a chronic condition & heat therapy helps her immensely. The moist heat that this pad offers helps the heat penetrate deeper than other pads on the market.

Pros
  • 90 second heat in the microwave and it holds the heat for at least 10 minutes.
Cons
  • Not recommended for children under the age of 3 due to the risk of burns

Easy to use best in my review

I was recovering from a broken knee and was getting heat at PT. Decided to do it at home. I took a chance and ordered this and was not disappointed. Just pops in the microwave and gives you a nice heat that lasts. Very comforting.

Pros
  • Durable and machine washable
Cons
  • May not be as effective when used too frequently or for long periods of time

This is the heating pad you are looking for!

This heating pad is amazing. Has a nice weight to it, holds heat well, recovers moisture fast for next use. I subsequently bought two different microwaveable heat pads (at well know pharmacy chains) while being caught out of town without this one, and they don't come close to the quality of heat delivery that this one does. You may find other shapes/forms work better for the part of your body that you are applying it to, or you may need features such as straps, but if you are just looking for a

Pros
  • I have purchased several from this company. Really good Heatpack!
Cons
  • May require a cover or cloth between the pad and skin to prevent burns or irritation

Beads leaked out best in my review

I like and use the product often. Easy to use. Provides soothing comfort for my back. But, a small defect in seam started leaking beads after 3 days. Luckily was not a large area, but I did all of a sudden end up with a small amount of beads all over kitchen floor that facilitated a cleanup. My wife said she could sew it up. That worked and has been fine since. That did save me the bother of returning. I would have rated it 5 stars overall if it had not leaked.

Pros
  • I love using this heat pack. Very durable and good quality.
Cons
  • Some users may find it uncomfortable or too heavy

Great heating pad but hard to clean

Great heating pad, gets very warm but I wish it retained heat a little better. I’ve had these in the past and my one big complaint is that I wish they were easier to clean. They get pretty dirty with regular use.

Pros
  • Indoor and outdoor use
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean or maintain with frequent use

Great pad, reputable brand. Highly recommended.

Great moist heat pad, weighty enough to conform to wherever you place it. Pocket is great for hands and feet. Well sewn, and I appreciate that a copy of the heating instructions are listed on the pad itself.I can also recommend the Thermalon carpal cuff, which has helped me with wrist pain for years, and is how I was familiar with the Thermalon brand.

Pros
  • NATURAL PAIN RELIEF: This therapeutic heat pad is designed to deliver a moist heat treatment that helps in relieving chronic pain, such as arthritis, muscle aches, tension and stress and for providing comfort
Cons
  • The pad may lose heat quickly or unevenly, resulting in inconsistent relief

works great! good for me

This is the second one I've bought. 1st one is 10 years old and can't be washed so bought the new one. So handy to just put in the microwave and put on aching muscles!

Pros
  • Can help alleviate stress through the comforting warmth
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with a low tolerance for heat or pain

Quality of the Thermalon Mois heating Pad

This product was meant to be a present. The recipient of it was completely satisfied.Myself, I have been using this product for years, always for muscular pain. Lately I am using it for pain in the lombar spine where I have 3 discs (not hernias) with protruding disc and this humid heat instantly helps reliving the pain.Soon I am ordering a new one because it is a bit worn out, but after so many years it keeps working perfectly.I recommed, after heating in the microwave, to put it into a small…

Pros
  • Can be used as a natural alternative to over-the-counter pain medication
Cons
  • Requires a microwave-safe container to heat up in

Does keep warm for a period of times. But quality is an issue

Material quality of low material. Fuzz started showing up after first use. Now very fuzzy, not sure how long it will last

Pros
  • Increases blood flow to the affected area, promoting faster healing time
Cons
  • Cannot be used while driving or operating heavy machinery

Scratchy material and not flexible

The material is very rough and scratchy. Also loses heat faster than another one i have with clay beads. It was also so stuffed it was not flexible to wrap around wrist or hold shape.

Pros
  • I really like this heat pad, warms up quickly and durable. My previous heat pad lasted for years.
Cons
  • May not provide enough pressure or support for pain relief

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would buy another.

The one I replaced with this unit was used by me for decades, and used so much that the beads inside began to produce a bit of dust from their rubbing up against one another. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Wrap in a small towel after heating for best results.
Cons
  • Requires electricity or a microwave, which may not be accessible during travel or power outages
