We replaced the exhaust pipe on a garden tractor and found that the replacement overheated nearby plastic parts. After putting the wrap on, I no longer had a fever. I will use this product again.

It works well but the ends tend to crumble. Once worn out, fiberglass strings will hang from your exhaust. Looks bad. I ended up bending the ends down before securing them with stainless steel wire. Be sure to tuck the ends so they don't get tangled!

This item is as described. This was used to wrap my exhaust manifold to keep it from overheating the starter motor in close proximity. That may have reduced the heat a bit, but I still have too much heat at the starter. This lowers the temperature, but not as much as we'd like.

Not a fan. This product has a very shiny/slippery surface. It is very difficult to keep a tight wrap when wrapping a v6 header ie try to pull this product towards you (it slips off very easily). I used another product that isn't shiny and you can get a tighter wrap with it. I hope this stuff holds up once covered in silicone and driven through.

Looks different enough to be eye-catching and works REALLY well. The gold look put me off when I bought it online but when I got it I loved how it looked! Installation was easy if you're not in a hurry. Just take your time and really tighten it around your exhaust. The instructions were simple and detailed. This exhaust wrap came with good instructions and worked really well to wrap the exhaust pipe from the engine to the muffler on a 1914 Model T Ford Touring. The car is restored and driving, the heat from the exhaust on the passenger side radiates through the floorboards (real floorboards on the Estate!) giving a feeling of warmth.
