👣 Heelbo Heel/Elbow Protector - Adult Medium Size BLUE (Pack of 2) Review

I had to read the size comments for this product - WAY 2 SMALL - child size. Now I'll have to try the large and the extra large to see what works for my mom in the nursing home. The company must have a real size chart.

Product as described. Lots of padding. A lot of reviews made me think it would be too small for my hand. 5'10" Medium/Slim stature. So I measured around my elbow and it's 10". It fits. Thanks to another reviewer who claimed his wife's arm was 15" and he chose XL.

I was looking for a soft elbow pad for our older dog who was getting bruises on his elbows. The medium size fits him perfectly! He is a border collie mix and weighs 60 pounds. I modified the protectors a bit by sewing straps onto each of them with velcro on the back to hold them in place.

Have been using them on my mum's elbows for years. They are well made and hold up after launderette washes. I didn't tumble dry them, just let them air dry. The foam padding really protects the skin and elbows from bumps, bruises and skin tears. At first they're comfortable, and then they "relax a little". There are fakes for brands and even fragile papers worn above the elbow, but they are short-lived. The Heelbo brand is durable and wear-resistant.

I injured my elbow quite badly a few hours before leaving for an international trip. I survived with the typical stretch/neoprene types (although it was painful to put on and take off). I had some of these pads that my doctor gave me many years ago. I liked them a lot, thick pads protect my sore elbows very well, dense and resisted. The thing is, they looked awful. Good quality product but the size may differ from what you expect. I'm a small lady, 5ft 2in, about 95-105lbs, and I actually wear a size L. Bought due to elbow bursitis, no padding from own body after surgery, so need to wear something. I ONLY gave 5 stars for the SIMPLE question, all other ratings were 3. It is made of lightweight foam that cannot stay as a foam. It almost flattened out immediately after an hour or two. I had to take foam from the 2nd and double foam.
