Hella 011225802 Universal Fit 12V Black 77mm Disc Horn Kit Review

Good, loud and reliable horn. I installed this on my 2006 Odyssey after my horns got rusty. Since the Hella horn has a ground pin I had to wire my own ground lead and connect it to the bracket but ground it to the frame. I also had to modify the power cable by changing the original clip on the old Klaxon so I could reuse the factory wiring harnesses. There are lots of do-it-yourself things here that cannot replace plug and play.

These beeps are LOUD, but only if you connect them directly to the battery. I originally used my existing derailleur and replaced the horns. Hellas were louder, but not by much. It's hard to measure loudness when my previous horn was higher and this one has more midrange. These are inexpensive replacement horns for our RAV4, but Toyota should be ashamed of the crappy, weak, inefficient and tinny Denso horns they factory install.
