Works as described. Adjustable power-on delay. Expressed in a simple way. When you energize a relay, there is a time delay for the power to turn on. I use this for my brake booster, it prevents the motor from shorting out. Allows a few seconds delay on each power up.

The ideal time delay relay for applications. I used it to delay locking my 700R4 by 15 seconds. This stopped the on/off oscillation of the vacuum switch. I also plan to use it to delay turning on the electric cooling fans to give the starter a full battery charge when the engine is hot started.

I needed a "power on" delay relay after starting the truck. This is Hella original part and Hella quality. This relay is adjustable and comes with a metal bracket. I'll make it, it's not cheap, but there's no such thing as cheap quality! I recommend this relay! CPS

Mine just didn't work. I know how to wire relays but it just won't close. Replaced this in an app that currently has a fixed 10 second device under $20 that works fine, but this relay just doesn't work in the same app. Come back and it seems very expensive for what it is.

Haven't really used it yet but for the price this thing should come with a sticker that you can peel off at the top after sizing to make it more weather resistant as well as adjusting the cover to prevent others from messing with it. Update: Install now FINALLY! Works perfectly! I use it as a timer to stop the engine if I lose oil pressure, charge or engine or the temperature of the hydraulic system gets too high.

Works like a charm! I bought this relay to start the electric radiator fan about 30 seconds after the engine starts so it doesn't draw as much current from the battery. Typical Hella quality, made in Germany. Much better than cheap relays from China or elsewhere which have smaller electrical contacts inside (after disassembling various relays) which cannot handle the rated current. In my humble opinion Hella products are good quality so I ordered them to replace the lighting relay on my bike. The idea is that when I turn on the ignition, I don't want the headlights and hazard lights draining the battery while I'm trying to start the engine. Just one headlight consumes 10A.
