Difficult to attach to finger splints

Medium is a bit small, but small would be too small. The dorsal metal piece is very uncomfortable as it rubs against my bones so I took it off.

Pros
  • Hely & Weber TKO (joint brace) is indicated for ligament injuries, boxer's fractures and other fractures of the metacarpal and proximal phalanx.
Cons
  • Obsolete

Very good splint for medical supplies and equipment

This splint is used for injuries to the ulnar nerve. Much more comfortable, stronger, and lighter than the molded fiberglass scrap I got in the ER. The doctors approved this bandage. Only criticism is that the fabric is a bit hot. However, I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Straps are infinitely adjustable for fit and comfort (pain and swelling).
Cons
  • disappears

The doctor agreed. for arm, hand and finger rest

Took our daughter to the doctor after she broke her arm, he told us they needed her braces after the cast was removed, found them, bought them, took them when we removed the cast, to ask if it worked and he said it would be great! Saved money!

Pros
  • Soft aluminum feet for additional comfort.
Cons
  • High price

Works great, very durable

I broke the 5th metatarsal in my right hand. I wanted something different than the "cudgel" that the orthopedic clinic imposes on me. It fit well, was comfortable and easy to use. Now that it's off, I save it for the next time I do something stupid. I gave it 5 stars not because I like it, but because it worked and was MUCH better than The Club.

Pros
  • Nylon outer shell with jersey coated foam lining.
Cons
  • Short Manual

It is great. It worked great when I broke my fifth.

The thing is great. It worked great when I broke my fifth metacarpal. I tried another brand that worked well and was a little cheaper, but this one was much better. It felt stable and gave me the protection I needed. I was a little concerned about the small hole on the side of her hand, but I never slapped her hand and it helped her breathe.

Pros
  • Soft supports are malleable.
Cons
  • I have no dislikes for it, everything is fine

Works only on very large hands

It was like looking for a needle in a haystack trying to find the cubital splint my doctor said I needed. I finally found it one day and for $40 I was hooked and bought it after a few days of frustration. Unfortunately, when I started using the brace, it didn't fit on my arm because it was so big. Even after wrapping it as tightly as possible (I didn't have velcro to attach it) it still wasn't tight on my arm where it needed support. I guess I'll just leave it as is as it was obviously as goodโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Distal bridge prevents finger rotation.
Cons
  • Overall ok but...

Excellent product for a boxer's fracture without displacement

Used for a boxer's fracture without displacement of my right 5th metacarpal (I'm right-handed) I had a soft splint for 3 days and the doctor recommended I take it an impression at the orthopedist. It sounded like overkill so I got it and it worked perfectly. My arms are big and skinny but I had no problem putting them on. It is pre-curved to the correct hand shape and allows for some customization. In the end I was x-rayed again and the doctor was impressed and told me to keep wearing it. Theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
