So they were completely useless. Return for Refund

Unfortunately I received them without sharpening the geometry of the tool. So they were completely useless. Sent them back for a refund.

Pros
  • All shanks are held 0.000 - 0.0005 inch from nominal.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Quality product for drill

Very pleased with the quality of these boring bars. Ultra-sharp and well-protected cutting edges during transport. I use it on wood and soft metals, but they'll probably be good on steel too.

Pros
  • shank diameter. (B) 3/8 | install PC. 9
Cons
  • Very Expensive

They don't cut.: Drill

I missed the return deadline by 5 days, never assume the product is as advertised. The first set of carbide tipped boring bars I bought lasted for years if sharpened on a diamond wheel from time to time. I didn't know there was such a thing as "soft" carbide. These carbide tips (if carbide) wear out in just a few cuts and feel as soft as the mild steel I'm cutting.

Pros
  • Mark C-6 for all steel grades and general purposes.
Cons
  • I will write later
