Evil mountain parrots

The thing fell apart after a few weeks. The thread it hangs on is cheap and has now snapped. Also on the first day a piece of thread came loose and as someone else noted my parrot got tangled in it. My bird won't go in anyway. Do not buy. It's odorless and mild, but not safe for parrots.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Very expensive

Warm and fluffy in birds

I ordered this for my sun kennel, it has a long tail and I wanted it to be fully enclosed. At first she was hesitant, but now she's like her best friend. She loves it. She is a bit big for her cage but we brought her to work and she doesn't have that wide cage so large cages are ideal. The only thing I don't like is the tiny cords for hanging, if they go up making them bigger (stronger) then no flaws as far as I can tell. If your bird is chewing string, be careful

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Negative impression

NOT SAFE FOR BIRDS in Nests

NOT SAFE FOR BIRDS! After installing the "scale" in the cage for my Green Cheek Conure baby, my baby was wrapped in nylon thread which came loose from the inside of the "scale". . And not just a thread! And the worst thing is that it was on her neck! Luckily we were there and acted fast enough to keep the chick from strangling itself. I am absolutely horrified and plan on building my own bird feeders from now on as I am forever paranoid about this experience.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • High Price

Almost killed my green-cheeked parakeet

I bought this hammock for my GCC in February and this morning my poor toddler almost hanged himself in it. The thread in the hammock was fraying without my noticing, but the trimmings in the damn thing were worn and poorly finished, and the threads were wrapped around his neck. I was lucky enough to be by his side when he started screaming and couldn't move. I ripped off the thread and then let it run off his neck for the next 5 minutes. You MUST do a better finish for this item. I do NOT…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Only available in black

It's not safe. My bird loves it but the vet bill doesn't.

I faithfully bought this hammock for 4 years. But after three occasions where my kennel almost lost a leg, I'm afraid I won't be buying this item again. My rider likes to peck at his bed but in doing so he pulls out the yarn of the product and gets it. (tightly) wrapped around his ankle. This was the last time it was unsafe for him. A cord is tied around his leg, cutting off blood circulation. He then pecks at his leg to get free, and it was a bloody mess. $210 for emergency veterinary…
