It's not what I expected, but it will do.

This decoration looks large in the photo but is not. Luckily I didn't use it for ten gallons, just two and a half. So I think five gallons or less makes the tank look good, but a big tank. no It also has some pretty pesky plastic threads that come off it, so you'd better wash it before you put it in the tank. Also, it looked pretty cool and my tank looks great.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Repair

Cute for small fish but not for bettas

Cute little hiding place but my dick Roy never used it. This is a small crescent betta, about 2.5cm long, couldn't fit in the top hole. He could fit the floor, but he never tried. He prefers his floating log (actually LOVES the log). Size wise I have a 3 gallon tank so the smaller shelter fits the tank nicely. I wouldn't recommend it for bettas but would be good for small fish e.g. tetras, ghost shrimp, etc.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Too dumb

not worth your money!

I thought it would be good for my daughter's Beta tank so I ordered it as a gift. When I found a shelter, downy grass kept falling from it. We soaked it in water several times and had the same results. More green fluffy grass floating on top of the glass. I missed the return deadline and will not put it in the tank because I don't want the fish to have fluffy green grass in their gills. Yes, it was a soft texture, but it kept shedding. Do not buy this product, it is poorly made.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Had to iron inside but my betta loves it!

Much smaller than you think. I thought the moss would be a little darker green and look real, but it's more of a neon green moss and looks very fake. We had to use a dormant to enlarge the holes in the cave and we used it inside to flatten the cave. It's not bad, but you'll need to make a few adjustments to smooth it out, and I think it should cost a little less. It took my beta a few days to figure it out but I think he likes to hide and thank goodness he doesn't have any damage to his fins…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

The green part leaves immediately.

I rinsed this out before putting it in the tank. As soon as he touched the water in the aquarium, a hundred little green "blades of grass" came loose in my brand new aquarium. My betta started swimming thinking it was good. Luckily he was smart enough not to eat it or I would have had a dead fish. I immediately pulled it out and gave it a good rub in the sink to try and get the dangling ones off. But as soon as I put him in the pool, he did it again. I decided to leave it there, let the water…

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Almost never
