Best hole saw ever on my review.

These things are great! I use them in a cordless and routinely cut 1/4 steel sign poles for electrical boxes. Bought this as a repacement for one i used 4 years with hundreds of holes credited to it and finally one tooth broke after a 45ft fall. This new one has cut at least 30 holes and looks new, i spray some wd as i use it, works great.

  • I have cut holes in 1/2 inch mild steel with no problems. Still sharp and no teeth lost.
Cons
  • it's a good product but I like the pilot bit with the step in it and much shorter

Faulty cutter for my opinion

I will return. it's faulty. After drilling 6 holes in 1/8" mild steel, one of the carbide teeth fell out. Somewhat weighty causing fatigue in long-term use.

Beats a Bosch Hole Saw

What a joy to have the right tool for the job!I got tired of my charcoal chimneys rotting out so I decided to make my own. I bought a piece of 6 3/4" OD x 1/4" thick x 16" pipe. I needed 42 nice clean holes & since I'm a hack with a plasma cutter and Oxy-Acetylene torch, that left drilling them. I started with a Bosch hole saw and had 2 BIG problems: one, it wore out on the 8th hole & two, the scrap piece constantly got jammed in the hole saw.So I bought this rascal & it cut like a dream! Hole drilling best in my review

My company uses these for Frame rail Drilling on Big trucks and also trailers. Great product cut 3 nice 3/4 holes through 305 stainless plate. Still sharp. Worth every penny. they will last up to 10 holes.

iam an electrician and we drill a lot.of holes. in all.kinds.of.stuff plastic.hard steel.etc my company just.got a job to install 3 solar lite poles I had to put panels towards south. but light arm. in a different position so they don't make the holes for you.you must drill 5. 3/4 inch holes in a pole that's sick super thick .to with stand 140mph winds .this bit chewed through like butter .no cutting oil but I used slow rpm. got done in no time.

Works well for me - my new review

I ordered this to drill through 1/4 inch low carbon steel bar, have destroyed several drill bits cutting 7/8 holes. I would get maybe 3 holes drilled before destroying the bit.I drilled or cut 5 holes using the same drill press and speed. Cut like I wanted, like cutting butter, so seldom do you get a tool that works as well as it should. I used a cutting fluid just like I did with the drill bits.I have been using this hole saw for a while now and have cut about 50 holes in 1/4 and 3/8 mild…

This bit is awesome. Drilled through 1/2" steel easily. I used cutting oil and an electric drill not a rechargeable. I have ordered another size.
