📶 Hiletgo Mini ESP32 Mini 32 Module: Advanced WiFi and Bluetooth Connectivity Review

I use a big development board for prototyping but for the final product I like the compact size of this module. Every device I have used has been very well made and totally reliable. Battery connectors are a welcome addition. I don't need the many solder and wire wrap connectors that come with the kit, but it's VERY nice to have them just in case. I have used many HiLetGo modules over the past year and have never had a problem. highlighted.

This Lyligo/TTGO T7 v1.3Mine also has the date code 20181008 but I had no problem connecting it to the PC via USB. It started with the Blink T7 v1.0 demo and printed its output perfectly at 115200 bps to the Arduino serial monitor. When I connected the device to my laptop (Macbook) it immediately turned off. I am assuming this means some sort of short in the physical board design I received or the overall board design. ESP32 Mini worked great. It uses the CH340 USB->UART chip, so I had to download the Win10 driver to make it work with the Arduino IDE. I used Sparkfun's instructions (search "install ch340 sparkfun"). I was able to install it quickly and run it in my applications without any problems. I tested the touchscreen, OLED display, dual-core task switching, and more. Everything worked as expected. The only problem I found is that the pinout pattern doesn't seem right. This board is programmable without having to hold down the flash button. Nice feature compared to some other development boards I've bought. Otherwise it is like all other ESP32 mini without PSRAM.
