🔧 Hilitchi 300-Piece Assorted Set of Alloy Steel External Circlip Snap Retaining Clips Review

You were an absolute life saver when I needed to replace a snap ring that I broke rebuilding an engine in the shop. The entire line cost a few dollars more than the original part if and where to find it. I doubted the quality would be good enough for a heavy nib, but it worked well. Would recommend if you are looking for quality items at a reasonable price.

Seems to be a great range of quality stainless steel spring clips. I have already used the smallest to replace a missing clip on a long stroke stapler and it seems to have worked really well. It took a fair amount of force to seat the clamp onto the stapler shaft, suggesting the steel is strong and should withstand many cycles. I like having a range of sizes available so I don't have to take items in need of repair to the store to try and clip on. Seems a good price for 300 clips.

**Update** They are terrible! They are made of very soft metal. I had to open one up and put it on the axle for it to snap into place. It wouldn't stay in place. On closer inspection it was stretched. Then when I removed it, it opened fully as you can see in my picture. avoid it! This is junk. I used my first clamp on a transmission for a Toro rider. Fits perfectly and I love that the clip holes aren't so small that my pliers don't fit. This was a problem with the original Toro locking ring. I…
