I use these washers for my garden flag stand. I put five on the end to keep the flag from slipping off the pole in strong winds. Works perfectly!

I wish I hadn't looked for a "thicker" rubber washer. They will probably double if I use them to muffle noise when mounting a fan in the attic I plan to install. An attempt to reduce vibration noise.

They are IDEAL for adjusting cameras or other gear mounted on standard photo tripods and other mounts with the standard 1/4x20 screw mount. Every photographer in the studio should have such a box.

These were used to mount a piece of 4x8 Lexan over a window to protect it from chunks of snow and ice thrown by a snow plow in winter. Washers were required between the bolts and the Lexan to prevent the Lexan from cracking. Seems to be working as I expected.

I bought them for photographic equipment. I use it on a 1/4-20 screw on the top of the tripod to keep the camera from moving relative to the top of the tripod. The rubber allows for sufficient tightening of the 1/4-20 bolt when the washer is flexed, and surface friction between the washer and the chamber prevents movement.

The product itself seems to be in good condition but I didn't have enough washers. I suggest you count what you get as what it says on the box is not the number of pucks you actually get! I had already used a few shims before realizing I didn't have the full 20 shims I ordered and paid for. So I can't send them back but I want everyone else to know about the recount if they get them from this supplier! Buyer Warning!
