Very handy - Nuts

Whenever I need to bolt something to a tree, they work great. If you need a strong construction for your reels or need to screw a loop to wood this will come in handy. This simplifies assembly and disassembly.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

Exactly as advertised and quick delivery

I needed these for a project and needed lots of them. I've been to several stores and couldn't justify paying the asking prices. It was way more than what I needed and the price was worth it.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Hit Em in! in Fasteners

Pretty good, got the box for about the same price as a 6 pack at the local hardware store. It clogged easily, but there was a spot after which it was difficult to hammer the bolt. Well, I consider the self-locking thread an added bonus. It would have been better if they were made from A286 CRES rather than coated, but hey, woodworking, not aircraft construction with it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Size did not match label on box or listing

item received quickly and was very pleased to find 3 pin t-nuts in the box but turned out they had despite the Labels the wrong size on the box and in the ad. Instead of 1/4", 20 TPI, they were smaller. The t-nut OD was 1/4" instead of being the right size for 1/4" bolts. For 3/16 it might have been greater ". Returned them and bought another brand which turned out to be the right size.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • low repairability

Excellent T-Nuts in T-Nuts

Excellent product for intended purpose. I use it to attach side panels to drawers. This arrangement prevents occurrence and seizing of external nuts. Accepts standard 1/4-20 screws (head type of your choice). Since it's not always possible to have the exact screw length if the screw sticks out, I use my Fein Vibratool with a metal cutting blade to cut off the excess screw. Don't rely on tightening the screw to pull the tabs to pull the barbs into the wood unless the wood is soft. Use a hammer…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Vulgarity
