Very beautiful and durable units. There are actually two corks in each pack. No pilot hole required, take it in hand, twist it clockwise and press. It will cut into any wood surface/shape.

This is a doorstop. What can I say? It's much prettier than brick and only slightly more difficult to install. If you can turn the screw, you can install the doorstop. If you can't turn the screw, use a brick instead.

Bought it for the front door because the handle dented the wall after a few violent movements. I drilled a small pilot hole to make installation easier, but it wasn't necessary. Since we ordered three packs, I also swapped out the springs in the kids' rooms, which they love to play with (and end up getting pinched).
