🚲 Hollywood Racks Bolt-On Spare Tire Rack, Black, 2 Bike: Secure and Stylish Bike Carrier for Spare Tires Review

This is the second spare bike carrier I have owned. The first was Thule, a great bike rack. When shopping for a Hollywood bike rack, I carefully compared the information on both sites and decided to buy a Hollywood bike rack to save a few bucks. Having installed the Hollywood bike rack I would say it is Thule compatible or slightly better. The Hollywood is well built, durable and cheaper.

I have been using it for a few weeks now and am very happy with this carrier. I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler with 15" tires and it runs great. The rack comes with additional mounting adapters so I assume it will work with larger stock tires. It is very durable and will not rattle when you drive and go over bumps in the road. This worked great as advertised for the bike rack that is mounted on the tailgate above the spare wheel. I installed it on a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Set up was relatively easy with a ratchet wrench and the bikes are securely fastened with the straps provided. Superb bike rack for a Jeep Wrangler. I have used a towbar carrier for many years and this spare wheel carrier has changed my life. The trunk is perfect for the 2012 JKUS with standard 18" wheels and 35 x 12.5" tires.
