I've used it to sand some windows but managed to get through maybe a window and a half before my red Diablo sanding pads just fell off.

That was correct and easy to replace but the plastic wheel melted around the screw holes in less than 10 minutes of grinding. I ended up using an old thicker fiberglass disc with some epoxy and only used it for a few minutes to finish my project. I will not buy this again.

The original disc on my Dewalt dwe6423 sander broke after almost 2 years of use. I chose the AMAZONS CHOICE suggested, I often buy items if it's Amazon's choice and was happy with the product but not with this item. In less than 3 months I cannot sand for more than 10 minutes on a wide flat surface let alone a narrow strip of wood, I am very dissatisfied and have to order another brand.

Ok I don't usually write negative reviews lol but this item is THE WORST! I got on my grinder and it rocks well and it took me ages to come to (virus) which I found out but what a disappointment! Now I'm at a loss, can't send it back (too much trouble anyway. But finally, if anyone else had this problem? Sandpaper doesn't touch wood!

Have I had this mill for several years? It seemed like the upholstery suddenly fell apart and the velcro wanted to come loose with the sandpaper. I had to be very careful not to destroy it. This random orbital sander is one of my most used tools and I would be at a loss without it, although I would love to switch to a cordless one. I ordered a new backing pad and it arrived very quickly. It fits perfectly and the velcro is just like the original. I am very happy that my grinder is in use again.

Do not buy if you intend to use it on a Dewalt random orbit sander. This messed up the lead, the disc got very hot, causing the bushing in the center of the mill to melt and the disc to spin. As such it is repairable as it has cracks where the screws hold the disc to the grinder. Totally disappointed, but I've learned my lesson: what you pay for is what you get, and Dewalt obviously has a good reason for charging close to $18 for a genuine replacement. Saved money at the wrong end as I can now…
