I carefully checked the model number in the box provided by the company and received confirmation that this suction brush would be a perfect replacement for the brushes in my car. However, the driveshaft (or the little sticky part in the middle of the brushes) doesn't work with my car: it's not shaped correctly. I bought this to replace the brush block on my Hoover steam cleaner. It fits perfectly but the bristles seem to be softer than the original part. My original part was covered in pet hair/down and who knows what else. Should actually be a new brush but turned out to be used. However, it wasn't as "used" as the one I've been using for 2+ years. I replaced my old brush with this one and will continue to use it as it is in much better condition than the old one. The brushes are not stiff, they are very soft, splayed and worn out just like my old one. The only difference is that they are longer and have a little more life in them. I also ordered these because the piece of plastic on the center brush that slides into the machine to make the brushes spin broke off for me.
