Used for the first time today. Filled with oil and when I tried to put oil in my generator it all fell apart and oil splattered everywhere. Big mess and waste of a liter of synthetic oil. I think the concept is great. But this app is bad at best. I recommend you not to buy this funnel. Just use a regular funnel and you'll be a lot happier.

As many have said the spout at the end is just right for refilling the DSG gearbox on the MK6 VW GTI (and other vehicles with DSG, but check restore compatibility before purchasing) from above over the filter housing. Top filling is much slower than bottom filling (the factory recommended method), but bottom filling requires the purchase of an expensive VW tool.

Great funnel! Used to fill transmission oil in a 2006 Odyssey minivan. Let me measure how much I want to add for the extra 9 ounces for the 3.3 liters I need to add when I change the fluid. The lid keeps the inside clean, the cap on the end of the hose protects that end from drips. The end is too big to fit in the dipstick but will fit in the filler hole.

Look it's a good funnel but it came out with a plastic tube bent in half which isn't a big problem but it took a while to get the kink straightened out! During use, the open/close rotating funnel is a nice feature, but I found it closed when I poured transmission fluid into the transceiver and had to rotate it to the open position. Comes with a lid that is convenient to keep clean and a plug at the end of a plastic tube, and inside there is a fine mesh to catch and small debris that may appear.

I think I have a bad one. The funnel is transparent. It also leaks a little when the valve is open, but slowly. That's why we will do go back and try another one. I will update the review. Functions work as they should. I really liked the gradations, especially since there is a valve to stop the flow. The cover was useful too. It was windy when I topped up my gear so I actually put it on to keep the holiday from getting into my fresh fluid. She took off a star because the tubing had a tendency to twist which was annoying.
