Excellent quality product highly recommend

I rerouted all the wiring from my van via the bike lift back to my Ford and now it works like a charm. 7-wire allows me to turn on the lights and charge the tow. Very happy with the quality of all these components.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I will add later

Very nice plug.

What can I say, just a very good combination plug. Needed an outlet for my F-250 that matches the outlet on my 28ft RV. The plug end is installed on my 20ft car trailer to match the existing plug already installed on the RV, allowing the same outlet on the truck to fit both trailers. I looked around and it was the cheapest MF combo. All mounting hardware included. Good quality cases. Self-closing protective cover. Very happy with the purchase. doc

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Expensive

Fast shipping - arrived in perfect condition. The connector is quite well made, durable and complete with all the parts for both sides of the connection. I use it to connect a triple charger to a 12V DC triple battery system to charge my electric mule. Makes a pretty good connection. It's a good deal for the price and it was easy to hook up

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Damaged

Hook Up - External Accessory

This method is very easy to set up, although my truck's wire harness color codes didn't match the instructions, my wire harness' wires were labeled for function so it's easier to connect. Put a jack in the bed of my truck and then use the plug with another to make a connection cable to my van like an umbilical cord. Connecting is now quick and easy, with no cables lying around.

Perfect fit for my Starcraft trailer

I bought this connector kit to use on my car and connect it to my Starcraft van. The ends fit perfectly on the existing fork on the camper without modification. Tail lights, brake lights, Aux 12V and brakes work great. I used the bracket that came with the kit and attached a piece of angle bracket to it to make a boltless bracket to the hitch on the car. I bought the same kit for another car a few weeks earlier at my local parts store and beat the Revain by a few bucks.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Low quality. Rust. Limits braking power.

Made of thin, fragile plastic. The photo shows brass contacts, but the contacts are steel with a thin coating of zinc. It rusts easily, unlike higher quality connectors that use brass. Steel also has a conductivity about half that of brass, which limits braking current, which can be a safety issue. Three year warranty but shipping at my expense and all I get is another one with the same defects. . I threw it away and bought it with brass contacts. Now there are no problems with corrosion.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

Plugs are fine, bracket and instructions. Out of service

These are standard connectors, a good buy when bought together. The included bracket is a little flimsy and hangs about a half inch too far in my opinion and eventually gets damaged by hanging under the floor of the class 3 hitch receiver made by Draw Tite. So I decided to make my own "Mondo" clamp that lifts the connector higher. This means that the plug isn't the first to scratch the ground on a steep driveway. I'm a little picky about things like this, but for the average person, a flimsyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Useless features
