Got this to send Focusrite Scarlet 18i8 monitor output to speaker set; Unfortunately, the speakers get a mono signal instead of stereo. I checked the connections and it seems that for some reason the cable is not working properly to connect the signal. It works great when splitting from stereo to mono LR, but when doing the opposite (i.e. mono out and stereo in) this cable won't work.

Bought because I had wired headphones to use with my new Samsung TV. I connected this to my 3.5mm stereo cables to split the signal into dual mono in my audio interface. This is ideal for situations where a 3.5mm stereo to dual 1/4" mono cable would be too bulky. In many cases I use a short 3.5mm stereo cable and just need a quick adapter to split it into a left mono cable. and the right channels.
