The best corkscrew for people with arthritis! love this product!

I used to have several years before it broke. I love this bottle opener! Very easy for arthritic hands to break it down after a few uses. The wide pivoting top makes it easy to grab and twist, and the wings glide like a knife through softened butter. I highly recommend this product! To the seller, keep a few handy so next time I don't break them. They're getting harder and harder to find!

Time for a drink! Winged Corkscrew

This is a great wine bottle opener. It feels good and isn't too heavy or light. To be honest the main quality I look for in a bottle opener is "How does it open a bottle of wine?" Well it works great for me and I open too many bottles of wine with no problem. I think it will stay with me for a long time. For the price I think it's good value and I appreciate the extras which is why I always have this wine bottle opener with me to sip on my wines! That's what I got as part of the Revain Vine…

Well made and easy to use

I like this winged corkscrew. It is well made and very easy to use. It's made out of both metal and plastic parts, but has that nice feel of hard work. This clamp easily slides around the top of the wine bottle and the screw slides smoothly into the cork. Once the screw is screwed deep enough into the cork, the levers gently pull the cork out of the bottle. I've used this with at least 7 bottles of wine for a few weeks and have found it to consistently work well. The screw goes well with the…

Functional. Here it is.

Over the decades of enjoying wine I have acquired, lost, worn out and thrown away quite a few wine corkscrews. The Houdini H1-012901T Winged Corkscrew will do the trick, but it won't be remembered or particularly appreciated for helping me uncork a bottle. I say that because the materials are right, but not the ones that make an instrument beautiful. Unless you're very careful, this corkscrew tends to pull the cork in where it's stuck as if it's never going to come out. I consider this a design

Not much better than a normal corkscrew

This corkscrew works well, but not much better than a normal corkscrew, but in some ways more annoying. used material. The handle on the corkscrew itself is like that very cheap synthetic rubber that in a few years will start to degrade and become covered in a very sticky film (anyone with experience with old electronics knows exactly what I'm talking about). . Why they couldn't just make this pen out of nice plastic instead of using such a terrible finish I don't understand. In use, my main…

Must hold up a lot

I fixed it after two months of use. basically my wife. She has small hands with mild arthritis. She finds it difficult to hold both the neck of the bottle and the black plastic cap with one hand and screw the corkscrew into the cork with the other. Also when removing the cork, hold the wings as you twist the corkscrew. Need big hands (mine) and some strength. She prefers the simpler "waiter's corkscrew" which has a basic corkscrew, pretty foil, and two-tiered gimmicks. So I downgraded it from 5

Just like my dear deceased, only much prettier!

In my opinion, despite all the new-fangled frills, this is the classic form of a corkscrew, always reliable. Unfortunately my old one was lost or possibly left at a lunch somewhere. What I really love about this one, which is very similar to my old one, is the copper color. I have some old copper bits from a trip to Devon and Cornwall and even a brass cap on my cooker so I knew a copper colored corkscrew would work. For those unfamiliar with this type of corkscrew, it fits right over the cork…
