I bought this monitor to replace a broken 20" Dell monitor. The Dell was fine but the clarity of this monitor is amazing. I mainly use this computer for development and general browsing and it works well. The colors are bright but not overly bright. I was a little wary of buying a monitor with a glossy screen but personally I find it improves the picture.

The HPw2408 LCD monitor is a great monitor. Problems with the purchase began in local stores. All had brightness and contrast values of 100%. The auto level automatically adjusts to 30% on both and that's the difference between day and night. The seller also said it has no speakers. Again, this is not true. Basically a good monitor but I can only give it 3 stars because I had problems with colors. The colors only seem to be really good from a very limited viewing angle (straight). This is mainly a color issue at the bottom of the monitor. The rest of the monitor is great. Beautiful looks, great USB connections, and enough ways to customize it.

The best I've seen so far. Great price for Revan! Its installation was so easy for its size. From the box (very well packaged) to the table in 3 minutes maximum. I really like the USB hub as it allows easy access to USB ports behind the computer. XP and Vista found and loaded the drivers immediately (dual boot system). First of all I have to say that this is one of the best monitors I have seen. 24 inch, 1920 x 1200, hdcp, 4 usb ports, adjustable stand, glossy screen and amazing picture. The monitor was everything I expected and more. It simply connects to my computer without installing any HP software. Absolutely no problem. I was really impressed with the price. I bought it new from Revain for a lot less than a used one from EBAY. 5 Stars!

UPS never delivered my screen and every time I called for help (4 times) I had to get it over the phone. Revain returned everything without even asking but I really don't know why they are now asking me to review the product as I have not received it at all.

This monitor was easy to get started and has been flawless so far. I was about to buy a Samsung 245t but I saw some reviews that said some problems. So this HP looked good and performs better than I expected. Of course I only surf the internet and take photos, but the color quality and brightness are great. I've had this product for a little over a year (so it was mostly out of warranty). One morning the screen started displaying everything with a pink tint. I called HP, but they couldn't help but advise buying another one (I wanted to spend another $400 on an HP monitor for just a year, for example).

Wow! Awesome monitor is really good. Unpacking and installing is easy. Software that sets up your graphics card with the 1920 x 1200 pixel option.
