The first device does not provide load voltage

Instructions are useless. Nice device, charges well. However, the load side did not work. The trailer drew 0.7 amperes, the device showed a short circuit at the output. Troubleshooting failed. Ordered a second device, let's see if I have the same problem. The output has not been wired back or shorted. =============I received a replacement and it seems to have been working fine for the past week. I have 4 Renogy 160W solar panels. Very Disappointed - Energy Regulator

This was my first experience with HQST. I have 2 of their solar panels which are great. But this solar charger has been a disaster from day one. To be fair, I think things can't be done, and I think this was one of those things. The tips didn't tug on the wires and my batteries didn't charge. When the running lights flashed, I bought another charger because there was a spark between the positive pole of the battery. I installed a new one and it works great, but it's a different brand. Charging stopped after 6-7 months

Worked great for 6 months. I used it in a detached weekend home. When I returned to the salon I found the batteries always 100% charged. I got there a few weeks ago and the batteries were at 83% (despite lots of Florida sunshine for a week) and then the next week they dropped to 79%. Now it has dropped to 64% without battery charging, even though the solar panel voltage is much higher than the battery voltage.
