Universal Kawasaki Motorcycle Headlight by HTT Review

Bought these to fit the stock headlight and bracket on my 2003 SV650. I used mounting rings, not levers. It fits perfectly on the OEM mounting bracket and locks everything in place. You must assemble them carefully as they look like soft metal and can easily be cut if you are not careful. Do not apply excessive torque to the bolts, approximately 8 to 10 ft-lbs. Anyway, it doesn't take much to hold up. Once assembled, it looks like a factory installation.

I installed them on the SV650. The quality is pretty damn good, especially considering the price. My only complaint is that the arms are very short. In the end I couldn't use them. They are about as deep as my headlight scoop, which prevents the scoop from exposing the ignition cylinder installed in my top three. I ended up using OEM SV650 brackets to mount the headlight. Headlight mounting holes and turn signal mounting holes are approximately ten millimeters. My M10 screws fit well. I had to reverse the fork tube brackets to install the headlight into the fork to get the correct spacing between the brackets for mounting the headlight. Otherwise the brackets would be too far apart and not flush with the headlight housing. This left the threads facing outward from the fasteners, so I covered them with acorn nuts. Looks good.
