My previous one broke which stands out more than this plate. This product has the best white LED light. It holds license plates vertically, taking up less space. Suitable for my motorcycle. Supplied with appropriate hardware for installation. Recommend this to others.

Not sure what type of license plate this was made for, but obviously not for Virginians. This is a bad design, it would make more sense to unscrew the top bracket so you can insert the plate into the bracket rather than slide it in. Now I have to change my license plate if I decide to keep this item.

I bought this record holder last February and just started assembling it today (05/26/19). To my surprise, instead of a curved one, they sent me a straight angle bracket. The return/exchange date has already passed, so I was lucky. Check it out as soon as it arrives to make sure this doesn't happen to you. Now I'm stuck with a curved frame and a straight bracket.

I like the look and the solid aluminum frame. I wanted to put a plate and lamp on a sissy bar and it fits perfectly BUT. Half of the red LED doesn't light up, so I checked the wire. Connect different combinations. The red and white wires go to the original wires and the black wire goes to the frame. The factory half does everything it should, handling, brakes and lights are right. Is that a wiring or a defect?

Looks good on the bike but the brake light is not very good. I drove for my husband during the day and unless you look directly at this light you won't see it illuminate so it's very hard to tell when it's slowing down. At night you can see a little but not much. Don't rely on telling the vehicle behind you to slow down or stop, use your hand signal!

This product is well thought out and well made. I want to install it on my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. I believe many people will have the same problem as me when I install this product. Since this element is an aluminum ingot, it must be thick for strength. In fact, the bike axle is about 3/4 inch thick. Since my castellated nut on my axle is flush with the end of the axle before I install this plate holder, I would have had to find and buy a new axle 3/4" longer than stock for this plate…

Knowing this is a cheaper alternative to a license plate I bought this same second time to replace the first one I had with my Broke foot while pushing bike. The quality isn't the best but it works, the light is decent and the wiring was the same as I had before which made it easier. The mount on my original was flimsy. That's probably why it exploded. The bracket on this one was much thicker, over an inch, maybe an inch and a half with washers. My axle bolt is not that long. Who has two inches

The mount itself isn't bad when I finally got the chance to fit it on my bike. My biggest issue is the design of the section that secures the mount to the bike. It required a lot of modifications and luckily I had a friend who had a tap and die set and a table to make a set screw to keep the entire bracket from swinging around the round ring that slides into the bracket. I also had to make numerous trips to the hardware store for additional parts such as extra washers, grub screws, nuts/bolts…

I inherited the bike from my brother who passed away. Unfortunately, the number plate holder he had on the bike somehow disappeared. So I gave it a try despite the only good reviews.
