Better than Thule adapters. A thru-axle is much easier to screw in. I wish I had seen and used this before I bought a pair of Thule last year. It's so much easier that I'm considering switching to Thule! It is so good.

Very good for mounting my new road bike on my old Yakima trunk. Very durable. Never worry about falling off. Make sure you select the correct size thru axle. Technically the bike isn't fully protected as anyone with the right tool could remove the thru-axle and take the bike. I used a cable lock to secure the bike to the roof rack when I had to leave the bike in the car overnight.

Was looking for a thru axle bike adapter for my Yakima roof rack. Since I was equipped for quick-release bikes, I need some kind of adapter so that I can transport my new bike cheaply in the car. It worked really well and saved me from buying a new bike mount for my rack system. Very durable, easy to assemble and it was a relief to have this adapter.

This worked perfectly when I needed to mount my Specialized Tarmac SL6 on my old Thule fork mount bike pan. I was concerned about the sizing (tight fit on the fork) but they were perfect. You need the thru-bolt that normally holds the wheel to the fork, which means you don't have the same thru-bolt to attach the wheel to the wheel carrier (if you also have one). I just threw the bike in the car. You'll also need an Allen wrench to work with the thru-bolt, but you should still have it for…
