Does not fit application as Hurst says

I bought this for a 1970 Chevrolet pickup which I replaced with a 4 speed Muncie. Hurst calls it a shift knob, but it doesn't release the seat. I won't be using it but it's vacuum packed now so I guess I'll resell it and lose money.

Pros
  • Chromed steel finish shifter, length 16.5, 3/8-16 thread
Cons
  • Blank
