These filters worked fine. We have a lot of sediment in the water as we are on sandy bottom. Due to the need to change filters every 3-4 months, our fountain and water softener installer agreed why buy more expensive products when they work.

Perfect replacement element for my well. It is claimed that it can be cleaned, but after six months of capturing the sulfur and iron compounds, it is coated in a black paste and can be thrown away. Install a new one right away.

The polyester material in this filter is lightly pleated making it stiff. The pleats are also very evenly spaced around the perimeter and deform only slightly when inserted into the case and tightened. The manufacturer states that the material is resistant to bacteria and chemicals in the temperature range from 40° to 125°. It has a long service life, high flow rate and can be washed and reused. I am very satisfied with this filter protected by a plastic case. Quality product, bravo Hydronix!
