BRIGHT and blue looks pretty cool. Ideal for 5 gallons of Marineland.

BRIGHT and Blue looks very cool. Perfect fit for Marineland's 5 gallon tank as mentioned in a previous review. I like that the switch is on the base and not on the cord like a floor lamp. Now I can hide the cable. Seems to be very well made for the price. I intend to introduce live plants into the aquarium, but that comes later. Just received it and am very happy so far.

Sturdy and exceptionally well built

This flashlight is excellent quality and a great deal! It is easy to install on the aquarium and provides excellent lighting. I installed a light on a 20 gallon tank and it illuminates it beautifully. Light seems to be very durable, and one of its best qualities is its flexibility. You have the option to bend and twist the light however you like. The light is also adjustable from white light to a calm moonlight tone. Easy to turn on and off, just one button. I would buy it again for my other…

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Requires socket

It's a great flashlight and the only problem I had with it was the clip didn't fit on the rim of my 5.5 gallon bag which didn't really matter as I clipped it to the leg of had a metal stand. This light is fantastic for nano aquariums, I use it in one of my cherry shrimp tanks and it lights it up great! "Plus: Very bright light! Day and night mode! Works great for both small and large aquariums! The gooseneck for the flashlight is very flexible and strong, which allowed me to connect the…

Perfect for my 5 gallon Marineland planter

This was the perfect upgrade for my 5 gallon Marineland portrait tank where I've planted Anubias, Monte Carlo and Christmas Moss. Everything is alive and well but growing slowly because I don't use CO2 or anything like that. Blue light looks great and white light looks great. I actually placed this tank in a very dark corner of our house and the way the light illuminates the tank acts like a beautiful lamp and fully illuminates that dark corner of the room which is an unexpected bonus! It looks

Super bright flashlights in a small package

I like this little flashlight. It's probably intended for smaller aquariums, but I've used it at a 40 grower with great results. There are 2 modes controlled by a switch on the back: blue night lights and a bright combination of white and blue that looks very cool on black sand. It comes with a handy clip on the side to attach it to the rim. The connection of the lamp to the clamp is made via a flexible neck that easily keeps its shape at any angle. The clip is designed for smaller tanks and is

As described. in Aquarium Lights

Let me get that straight. Anyone buying online should read the product description and use common sense when planning a tank. This product is exactly as described, perfect. I clamped mine well above the waterline. It works so well that I took my avocado tree (which was struggling outside due to the cold) and put it in the light. Also look out for the revived fern. I put tons of carpet seeds in the aquarium when setting it up, most of them died off after a few days. But after using this light…

I have never written a review before but decided to write a review as I have been using this product for a few months now. Often times people write reviews when they are using it for the first time so I thought I would shed some light on how this product is working for me after 3 months. I originally bought this in March for 3.5 gallons but upgraded to 5 gallons in May and I have to say this light works great! I have low light plants as well as floating plants and they are thriving. In a few…

After I adjusted my gas cap.

I bought this because I plan to build a small aquarium with plants for my betta and some tetras. The light that came with my 3.7 gallon Imagitarium Pro was good and the Kelvin levels were well balanced for growing fir plants, but the light wasn't powerful enough to grow demanding plants. it would be just what i needed. The old light was 2 watts, Hygger 13 watts. The first issue I noticed was that the clamp adjustment knob was on the inside of the tank. It fits, no problem, but my jar lid…

Will not attach to top trim aquarium

The light itself is fine but what really annoys me about all these companies that claim to make excellent aquarium products is that they will make a lamp like this WITHOUT Attached to the side wall of the aquarium in consideration of the thickness of the damn AQUARIUM. The light "comes on", but WHAT exactly? Not from the side of my aquarium, that's for sure. There's nothing unusual in my fish tank - it's glass with a black border around the top - and yet this light that was supposed to "snap"…
