I suggest simply buying a new Briggs & Stratton needle and float kit with o-ring and cleaning and rebuilding your old Nikki carburetor. I know even factory Nikki carburetors aren't the best, but I've ordered 3 aftermarket carburetors of this type in addition to the needle and float. They're all junk right out of the box.

Very close to OEM carburettor, fits well. After installation, while adjusting the fuel mixture, I found that the fuel dispenser screw was severely bent and not adjustable; I tried to straighten it but it's cast iron and it's broken. I was able to remove the metering screw from the starting carburetor and it worked. Poems restoring an old carburetor is the way to go; So far, so good.

Fit exactly, but mower installed and started, throttle did not react, stayed at full throttle, idle adjustment did not work at all. Let it run less than 5 minutes before turning it off. I left it overnight and came back the next morning to find the entire fuel cell had been drained into the cylinder and even leaked through the rings into the oil. A float pops up, gets stuck in the carburetor, and resets everything. Now I have to change the oil and buy another carburetor.

Item was installed on time and easily. The problem was that the fuel solenoid valve was faulty and I had to disassemble it and send it back. Also, the carburetor is adjusted and you must follow the steps to adjust it properly, but no instructions are included. It's easy to return one and buy another, but it takes a lot of time to install and remove and then wait for another. Although these products are cheap, they must be carefully inspected and aged before shipment.

I ordered this to replace the carburetor on my Craftsman LT100 self propelled mower. The butterfly and the shroud around it are not the same as the original Walbro carburetor. The throttle body is larger and extends further into the air intake pipe. The larger size does not allow you to install it properly on the carburetor.
