    We are impressed with the quality of the product AND the company that sourced it. They sent a ribbon and accessories which we didn't expect. They did it all for an incredible price.     Works well on my pontoon boat.

    I installed this on my pontoon boat. That works great. The best part is you can see how much water is in your fuel and drain it if necessary. You can install fuel lines on either side of the filter, giving you many mounting options. Fastening material is not included in the scope of delivery. I have a 4 stroke 60hp engine and it works fine with this filter.

    New water separator

    Bought this unit to replace a 20 year old water separator on a Boston Whaler. It was mounted using the existing mounting holes, screwed and connected properly. I threw away the new hoses and bronze fittings for connecting the fuel lines as the old lines were useless. In general everything worked fine. When installing, be sure to vent the pipes.

    POOR QUALITY, LEAK, POOR DESIGN

    Leaking from day one, I'm not sure if the fittings are 1/4 NTP thread type. And I don't even think the filter worked. The catch tank below is always filled with fuel. Finally, the holes are too big, there is a screw that fits the full size, the hex is too big to go through the sandwich panel, I had to grind down the screw heads to get them in.

    The bottom fell off as soon as I started the engine, I couldn't put it back on, ruined the ride.

    As previously mentioned, when I filled it the amber water separator came loose and fuel spilled onto the transom and floor. Having access to a line splitter in a remote area where we were camping. If I wanted to troll, I'd pour gas all over my arms and boat every time I had to switch.

    In my experience, this product is not safe for boats!

    So easy to install. However, the drain leaks around the threads when you open the drain. The bottom cover has fallen off twice since installation. Once we were out (installation on board the boat), the second time I don't know exactly when it happened, all I know is that it was raining so I checked the boat at the pier and found 5+ gallons of gas in my grip. So I have to say that this product is boat safe! I've removed it!

    Easy install but still needs some tweaking

    This product is easy to install if you find the right place on the boat to install it. I used 2 screws 5/16. Fastening material is not included in the scope of delivery. The use of tread sealant is recommended. The tape is included but I didn't want it to come loose and get into the fuel line. I recommend using a socket wrench to install the plugs and fuel connector. It takes a lot of torque to get them flush. THE WATER DRAIN VALVE WILL LEAK IF YOU TIGHTEN IT. This part will definitely give you

    Questionable production - fittings do not sit in the head.

    The first unit I received had three bad connectors in the head assembly. You can only screw fittings halfway. I contacted the company, apparently in China, and they sent me a replacement after about a month of waiting. All four ports of the replacement can only be screwed in halfway. I emailed the company asking if this is a defect or if it is the design. I doubt it's a design issue as other fuel water separators allow full fitting installation. I also took a close look at the fittings and they
