Not sure what to make of it.

The grip has apparent splitting all along the grip. Don't want to blame the manufacure, but it looks like the grip split and was glued back together. It also has white traces of what looks like super-glue remnants in the area of the splits. Unsure what to make of it but sure doesn't look new. It also has a bit of scuffing on the bottom of the ball and I hadn't even swung it yet. I'm wondering if it's a return or is just defective (?). In any case, I returned it because I don't think I should…

Pros
  • Love this product. Great for loosing up and getting a feel for the lag in golf swing
Cons
  • May not work for all golfers

Great for warm up and stretching

I really like this swing stick. It helps me stretch my arms, shoulders, and back before I start playing a round of golf. I keep it in my bag and it's about a little taller than my driver.

Pros
  • The product is lightweight and portable, making it convenient to carry to the golf course
Cons
  • Could be too expensive to repair or replace if damaged

Works Fine: my feedback

For warming up, practice without going to the range, exercise those muscle needed. This thing works exactly as advertised.

Pros
  • Great product! Carries easy in the bag and great for loosing up and muscle memory.
Cons
  • Could require additional accessories for optimal use

Worth every penny. on my review.

Great to loosening up, tempo and rhythm. I have purchased three and provided two as gifts. The recipients were very grateful.

Pros
  • swing with this thing every morning and helped me more flexible with my golf swing.
Cons
  • Could cause muscle strain or injury if not used with proper form

Excellent tempo trainer

I have been using this for a 2 weeks and instantly noticed a BIG difference in my swing. I normally have a big slice, only play in outings where I can use others drive. The guys I play with instantly noticed a difference in my swing and I hit the ball better than I ever had. This product is a third of the price of the orange whip and works the same. I watched a couple youtube videos for the whip and practiced those and found instant improvement. This is no magic fix but really gets you in the…

Pros
  • Good for warming up before and mid game incase of a hold up...power training too
Cons
  • Could be too loud to use in a shared living space

Great value. on my review.

This product is every bit as good as the ‘name’ brand, at half the price. It is a little long for me (5’6”), but perfect for my husband (6’2”).

Pros
  • Greatlizard Golf Swing Trainer is made with high-quality materials that ensure its durability and longevity
Cons
  • May not be effective for golfers with unique physical characteristics

I swing the trainer 15 times almost every day. My balance and swing mobility has increased to add 5-15 yards on my drive and about 5-10 yards to my rescue clubs and irons and I'm over age 80.

Pros
  • ⛳High-Quality Material: Made by high-quality material, this golf trainer aids is durable, strong, and made to last. Whether you’re a competitive golfer or play leisurely with friends, this sports equipment is a perfect choice.

Bought two for myself for different residences and one as a gift for a golfing friend. Definitely go online and view some videos on proper use. Watch the yellow bulb view through "impact".

Cons
  • May not work well for left-handed golfers

Quality purchase on my review.

This gift was purchased for a fairly new golfer. He loved it and has indicated it has improved the length of his drives. That's my review.

Pros
  • Very good for stretching.
Cons
  • May be too expensive for some consumers

Helps with warmup: my feedback

As a 50 something golfer, I have found this to be the ideal tool for warming up. Start with a few easy swings, then get a pendulum motion going with full backswing and follow through. I do this for 20-25 swings, then stretch back and sides. NOTE: swing your actual club(s) a few times afterwards as the feel of the trainer is totally different!

Pros
  • ⛳Strength Your Muscle: The weighted head and flexible shaft assist with weight transfer during the backswing and help align your body properly, build muscle memory and strengthen your swing. It is a good way to give you more power and better control.
Cons
  • Could require a lot of floor space

great warmup tool in my review

This is a great tool for loosening up before playing. The flexible shaft and weighted ball promote a full follow-through swing while warming up - really loosens everything up. I bought a couple more as gifts to friends.

Pros
  • Works well. Helps me loosen up before a range session or round.
Cons
  • May not improve grip or stance on the course

Good tempo trainer!

I jerk the club a lot in my backswing, this really helps with a more fluent, smooth backswing. Also helps with lag! Love this training aid!

Pros
  • ⛳Develops Your Tempo: When you swing the golf trainer repetitively, it creates a low-impact stretch to increase flexibility and range of motion. The exaggerated flex allows for a lag during your backswing to help find your tempo. Use this easy training aid 10-20 times a day to improve your game, which could be in a golf club, your personal garden, or a living room or office with enough space.
Cons
  • Could be too heavy to travel with on planes or trains

Rough Grip is a problem

I opted to purchase this in lieu of the original Orange Whip. While it seems to be a good training aid, I see two flaws in the design. First, it comes with a harsh rubber grip. The weight of the stick puts excessive pressure and inertia on your hands and the rough grip is irritating my hands, mostly my thumbs. It is heavier to swing than the Orange Whip because there is no counter balance on the grip end. While I would like to keep it, I am considering returning it for the Orange Whip which has

Pros
  • Greatlizard Golf Swing Trainer is perfect for both men and women, making it an inclusive practice aid for golfers of all genders
Cons
  • May not be easy to store when not in use

Helpful tool best in my review

This golf swing trainer is very good and does a good job in giving the proper rhythm. It also stretches your muscles with the weighting it has. It helps eliminate hitting on the range if you play a few times a week.

Pros
  • Help you stretch and strengthen your arms and shoulders
Cons
  • May not replicate the feeling of a real golf swing

I have been playing golf for a little over a month, and I have a major gold bug in my system. I’ve had this product for a week. Before I bought the Swing Trainer I was hitting balls fat, I could not hit my driver, and was just straight up lacking confidence.Yesterday, I worked on the range for a two hour session with this product and it completely changed my tempo, swing path and fluidity of my swing. My drives were hit flush and in the air (a little slice a handful of time but that will get…

Pros
  • This swing trainer is a great warm up tool, the weighted ball creates a nice swing momentum!
Cons
  • Could cause muscle soreness or fatigue with extended use

Husband Loves it! good for me

My husband wanted this from top golf but to expensive. So I shopped around and found this on Best Buy, bought it, and my husband said it does exactly what he wanted without having to pay a high price! I definitely recommend this product!

Pros
  • Is very good for getting muscles loose before playing a round
Cons
  • May not provide enough resistance for advanced golfers

Worth trying: my feedback

My son has the Orange Whip and I’ve tried it which made me want to get one until I saw the price. I took a chance and bought this and I see NO difference. Would recommend buying.

Pros
  • Excellent swing feel with instant feedback. Improve your swing & game rapidly
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children or young golfers

Great tempo training aid

Tempo in the golf swing transition seems to be under rated when watching golf learning videos. This tool helps with that. Because its very heavy (compared to a regular club) it also builds a lot of strength. I swing this before my net session and sometimes before I leave to go golf and it sets my swing right for the day. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is very heavy and you need to work up to using it effectively because it is so heavy you can hurt yourself if you try to swing…

Pros
  • Good value!
Cons
  • May not improve putting skills

Value for the price

It does exactly what the tangerine colored stick does for a third of the cost.I use it the warm before every training session or a round of golf! Btw, it's orange not red.

Pros
  • It is a cost-effective alternative to expensive golf lessons and can be easily used in the comfort of your own home or backyard
Cons
  • Could be too challenging for uncoordinated or novice golfers
