My friend bought this for our anniversary on the 9th June, I put a lit candle where it was supposed to be and within 10 minutes my heart was beating and bursting before measures temperature wrong. Very well designed. The packaging is perfect, no damage. Cheese fondue (Trader Joe's) was overheated in dinnerware sets. We lit the included candle on the base for about 5 minutes before placing the hot bowl on the base. Perfect, no swearing, just hot fondue. The forks are easy to use. Really spacious and comfortable enough for 2-3 people, needs topping up for more than 3 people.

While this set is cute and appears to work well, it is much smaller than the photos make it out to be. Small dip bowls hold a handful of fruit/vegetables. A large cheese pot can hold several ounces of melted cheese. Since most recipes state there should be 7 ounces of cheese per person, this set is for one or two people at most and not a large group.

This set is really tasty and I love little bowls for snacks, even if I don't make fondue. Overall we tried this with chocolate (already melted) and only having one candle directly under the bowl resulted in the chocolate burning in that spot and the rest not staying smooth. I've had this problem before with other fondue sets that also used a tea light candle and I think the only solution is to use an electric heating element instead.

I bought this for my husband and I and for Valentine's Day which I do for my friends every year. The picture does not convey this. It is very nice. I wasn't sure about the tea light, but it worked great. Keeps cheese fondue nice and warm. Looks adorable and comes with 6 heart shaped bowls and 6 skewers. Good quality and really nice owners of the company it comes from. Works great and will also make a unique gift. I love it!

This is the perfect dessert fondue set for the five of us. The pot itself holds three cups of chocolate, more than we'll ever need for a family. I can display it on a buffet table or a festive table (think Valentine's Day or birthdays). My wife bought this based on overly positive reviews. During the construction, I immediately noticed that the walls are rather thin and the floor is too flat. The shape of the heart may also appeal to some, but fondue calls for a symmetrical, round vessel, preferably with a smaller and/or slightly concave bottom.
