Description of ANNMETER AN-1800 Digital Infrared Thermometer - Handheld High Temperature Pyrometer Gun for Non-Contact Measuring (-58~3,272℉), 50:1 IR Laser Gauge for HVAC, Kiln, Cooking - NOT for Human Temperature

🔥【Wide in Applications】-This temp gun is suitable for multiple purposes, it can be applied in industrial fields like smelting, kilning, pottery firing, soap making, food processing, household use, HVAC, pool water detection, hot/cold spots detecting and outdoor griddle cooking. 🔥【High Degree Accuracy】-Adjust emissivity from 0.1~1.0 before measuring surface temperature of different materials, to get most accurate readings. High/low temperature alarm emits when reaching preset value, reminding you to take necessary measurement. Class II laser, optical power <0.5mW . Wavelength 630~670 um. 🔥【Intuitive Temp Gadget】-Simply point the laser at the aiming objects and shot. This infrared temperature scanner reads instantly in 0.25 seconds. MAX/MIN/AVG/DIF modes, data hold, backlight, flashlight, circle laser position, 30s auto off, all the functions you need in daily use. 🔥【Wide Temperature Range】-AN-1800 is professionally designed to test extremely high temperature, ranging from -58 to 3,272°F/-50~1800°C( Celsius or Fahrenheit optional). *Note: Surface temperature of non-living objects only! Not accurate to measure human or animals.*. 🔥【50:1 Safer Distance Spot Ratio】-50:1 DS ratio is larger than most other ordinary termometro, taking accurate temperature of objects that are dangerous to get close, out of reach or moving. No physical contact with heating source.

Cool tool! about temperature and humidity

As I said on my CV. "COOL TOOL!" HOW DO I KNOW THAT? I MEASURED IT! THE DRINK IS OVER 4000.+ BUT THE OUTER LAMP SURFACE WAS 150%F-220%F WHICH IS NORMAL. This is one of those tools where you never know how much you'll need until you actually use it! Now I didn't understand earlier how I could live without her for so long! lol are you still with me It's a very good tool, easy to use, with a great CSR base and great product support. And full instructions in English to get you started in less than…

Very massive, Lego Duplo-like, extreme temperature range

This pistol is excellent for extreme heat and cold. It feels accurate and the settings are easy to change and intuitive. The form factor is fine, although it's very chunky and larger than I think it should be. The laser is weird and terribly inaccurate. Its accuracy seems to suffer at normal human temperature and room temperature (32F-100F). Even with a properly adjusted gun, body temp reads around 70F, while my other temp gun with the same settings reads around 98F. In general, this is good…

Should be significantly better for the price.

Was looking forward to this I had so many things to use it for but unfortunately it's not the best. It just feels cheap in the hand. The screen doesn't look as good as the photos here, not even close. Also, the screen is often difficult to read, you have to tilt it properly, and often the screen goes dark when you pull the trigger. Why, how exactly, not even close. First you need to get it closer to the object, say a foot or less, to get an accurate reading. Even then, it changes every time you

Best Infrared Thermometer Instrument

This is a well made little instrument with a clear, colorful and easy to read display. It's easy to use: just aim and pull the trigger. This will turn on the device and start the measurement. There is a built-in laser template that shows the measured area; The further away the object is, the greater the spread of the laser pattern, indicating a larger measurable area. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the device as I have no other instrument to calibrate it and by mere calculation I have no…

good tool. accurate and consistent.

I often use infrared thermometers to calibrate heat presses and in the kitchen. I have several but this is my favorite now. I can use the minimum temperature or differential scan to make sure my t-shirt presses heat up evenly, which is a feature I didn't originally think I would use at all. To test its accuracy, I painted the aluminum heatsink with matte black paint and put it in a pot of ice water for about 3 minutes, checked the temperature and it was constant 32.2 degrees, then I lowered the

Pyrometer needs to be calibrated before use

This pyrometer appears to register temperatures above actual temperature for a given emissivity. I tested this pyrometer at ambient temperature and 300 degrees Fahrenheit with another pyrometer that was calibrated and accurate. At ambient temperature, the error was about 10 degrees. At 300 degrees Fahrenheit, the error was about 40 degrees. I could not check the pyrometer over the entire range because my muffle furnace was not burning. Pyrometers are notoriously inaccurate. The biggest problem…

Pros
  • Test, measure and test
Cons
  • Expensive

Sometimes I don't need my thermal gun/camera and when I don't need it I don't like carrying it around. In such circumstances, a good and reliable temperature gun will do what I need. Of course, there are many temperature guns with different performance, build quality and price. I have two slightly cheaper timer pistols and while they are good too, this one from AIOMEST is clearly an improvement in terms of build quality and materials used. The plastic used is a high quality plastic with a…
