Excellent quality! suitable for spare parts

works great! 2004 Ford Excursion 6.0 4x4. You only need a shop press to use it. The machine shop I went to was so impressed that when I finished my ball joint work they bought it from me.

Pros
  • excellent price
Cons
  • little things

An excellent tool for hobbyists and professionals.

A well thought out tool that many tire dealers don't have. Easy to use to securely place both seals and axles where they need to be without causing damage from otherwise banging parts.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Difficult to say

You'll need them when changing axles on the F250

Just add this to your toolbox when you DIY your F250. I've used it 3 times already and it's very easy. I can't imagine doing the job without tools without damaging the gasket or not installing it properly.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • having trouble

WORKS WELL.: Bearings and seals

PICTURES MISSING GUIDE. WHEN I HAD THE PRINT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PHOTOS THAT WILL BE POSTED. THE GASKET WAS NOT DEPTH ENOUGH TO SET THE RETAINING RING. I FINALLY REMOVED THE AXLE AND USED THE TOOL TO INSTALL THE GASKET AND WHEN THE AXLE HAS BEEN INSTALLED I CAN INSTALL THE LOCKING RING.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Operating speed

Installer tool works good

I ordered a front hub oil seal installer tool for my 2001 Ford F-350 4WD. The tool makes installation easy and the tool finish is good. The tool requires the use of a hammer to hammer the gasket in place and I suggest a hammer that weighs at least 4 pounds. Warning. It is best to use a large hard plastic hammer as using a metal hammer will leave small indentations on the tool's driving surface.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • High price

There is no fault in this tool

The fault, if any, is how ridiculous it is that U must bang on it to install a large vacuum seal on a Dana 60 front drive axle (my FORD axle anyway) . Despite how hard the instrument was struck, it held up well. I am considering putting in a different mount before even attempting to attach this large vacuum seal. It's beyond stupid how much effort it takes to install. And I pre-greased the oil seal and bracket. I called Timken, a wheel bearing manufacturer, and they said they use lithium grease

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Modern
