Before I got this blade I used a different type of blade to cut metal and the results were mediocre but much better and faster than cutting by hand. This saw blade is the best solution for cutting metal roof sheet metal. It does not burn metal or damage paint like other "metal" blades. This blade literally slices through metal slowly and generates almost no heat. I've used it for cutting valley roof sheet metal and had absolutely no problems.
