iSmart EHR Review

I like having access from anywhere for my patients by using their smart devices when they have internet connection at home or work! It is very helpful especially if you are not able go into clinic that day because it does remind me what was done during previous visits (medication changes). The main plus side was everything it did - my records were being saved seamlessly, charts printed out easily, I could upload patient info from other apps that we used at work like Google Docs! Not much bad about anything really (the web app crashes every once in awhile!). It's also very expensive for an office suite; I think this is why more mid-level companies aren't using ehr solutions yet or maybe not as many? Some features are just too confusingly different than regular computer software…

I like that it is very customizable for each practice/doctor's office as well being able to integrate into other software packages such as Epic or Practice Fusion (EMR). It can be difficult at times when trying figure out how something works within this application but there are help forums available through their website if needed so not too much trouble once you get used to using them! The ability for my medical provider's office staff (and me) access it from home or work without having internet issues is amazing! I wish there were more options/apps that could be added easily by patients themselves - perhaps through some sort of app store? It would make them feel like they are part owner as well instead just being "users".
